” Help, I feel like a fraud and I am afraid to really charge what I am worth. ”

I hear this from aspiring coaching every single week.

The term for this is ” The impostor syndrome”: the idea that you’ve only succeeded due to luck, and not because of your talent or qualifications.

An estimated 70% of people experience these impostor feelings at some point in their lives, according to a review article published in the International Journal of Behavioral Science.

If you have been feeling this way, I want you to follow the following steps:

Step 1: know that you are not alone, they are 70% women that have felt this exact way before.

Step 2: Acknowledge that this feeling might be one of the reasons you have not been able to grow your business.

Step 3: Ask yourself the following question ” Does this thought help me or hinder me?”.

Step 4: Start keeping a file or folder of your accomplishments. I call mine ” Pretty big deal” folder. You want to keep screenshots of messages from raving reviews, huge milestones…

Step 5: Start a daily gratitude journal where you write down the great things you were able to accomplish that day.

Let me know if you have ever suffered from impostor syndrome.
